Niya Bates, Historian of Slavery and African American Life at Monticello, will share the stories and history of some of the many African Americans who lived and worked at Monticello's Gatehouse. Eliza Coleman lived here, Stanley Ferguson was a gatekeeper, and Willis Henderson was a guide at Monticello.
