Join us for a pop-up jazz performance of “We Insist! Max Roach’s Freedom Now Suite” which was released in 1960 to commemorate the Emancipation Proclamation and celebrate the Civil Rights Movement protests. The free performance features five members from Fresh Cut Orchestra, a jazz ensemble from featuring trumpeter Josh Lawrence, bassist and cuatroist Jason Fraticelli, drummer Anwar Marshall, percussionist Arturo Stable and saxophonist Stacy Dillard.
