Spring Open House, Thomas Jefferson Center for Historic Plants

April 27 - Celebrate Jefferson's botanical legacy with a visit to Monticello’s nursery. Explore an inspiring display of historic plants in our preservation gardens, then find your favorites and more for sale in our nursery. FREE. 10am-2pm Offered as part of Historic Garden Week in Virginia.

Mountaintop Hands-On Activity Center

April 13-29 - Use a quill pen to copy famous ideas from the Declaration of Independence. Crack code with a wheel cipher. Snap a selfie next to a camera obscura. Simulate a solar eclipse with an orrery. Or take a break with games and toys for children of all ages. (Included with admission.)

Toddler Time at Monticello

April 20 & May 18 - Toddlers and their adult companions will love this adventure in our Griffin Discovery Room for story time, crafts, and special activities - the perfect introduction to the world of Thomas Jefferson. 9am-10am
